Christine Grotefeld and Carolyn Croasdale "manned" a table on behalf of Rambler's concerned over the clearcutting of the West Bragg Creek Area thus overlaying and affecting 90% of the trails, some of which have just been improved/created this last summer by way of sponsorship jointly by the Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association and Alberta Tourism Parks and Recreation. These lands are managed by Alberta Sustainable Resource Development.

Hundreds of people voicing their concerns crowded the Bragg Creek Community Centre where represented were the Alberta Government, Spray Lakes Sawmills and the Greater Bragg Creek trails Association as well as various interest groups. A total of 703 ha. will be logged as part of the plan and 550 ha. will be coming from the area west of Bragg Creek. The remaining volume is coming out south of Hwy.66.Carolyn
