With none of us used to cold weather this winter, we got off to a hasty ‘LeMans’ start under sunny skies. Snow conditions were terrific for the full length of the tour, partly skier set in old tracks and partly in newly track set. Our route was up Packers, Pocaterra and Tyrwhitt then down Elk Pass, Fox Ck and Boulton or Moraine back to the cars at Boulton bridge

Temperatures varied between -10 and -15 with wind in the higher areas, but the sun stayed with us most of the day. Some stopped at Kananaskis Village for a coffee while others tried to beat the rush hour in Calgary.
