Lots of fresh snow although the trail to Shark Lake had seen some use this week so trail breaking wasn't an issue. We followed the summer trail to the lake and then hiked around to the opposite side of the lake and headed up to the edge of the rock garden.

It was a great day thanks to Ivan, Yoko, Janice, Barb, Karen and Brenda. Back in town by 4pm for anyone going out to celebrate. Happy New Year! David c/s/p
