We had our first view of Cox Hill after an hour or so. The next 1/2 km is the steepest part of the trail to the Cox Hill Junction where we re-grouped.
Lots of flowers to see and identify (and a few we couldn't name).
Lunch was at the official mountain top, 360 degree views. Stretching northwards is the rest of the ridge which we looked at but didn't bother hiking, leaving it for another day. Finally time to leave, meander back across the meadows and down through the trees to reach our cars shortly after 4.
Thanks to a fun group Sandy, Dusan, Madeleine, Alastair, Bill, Barb, June, Brieta, Carolyn and Ginger and, of course, Skylar. Thanks to Brieta for the group photo. C/s/p Dorothy-Ann
