Report:

We had fantastic day, excellent and strong group ascending The Fortress from Headwall Lakes side. Col looked very snowy with huge cornice hanging above so we opt for friendly rib and nasty scree east of col. There is still a lot of snow for this time of year. Going down we went to Chester Lake side. 19 km, 1100 m el.gain. Thanks everyone and Peter for pictures. John, Russ, Corina, Bernie, Janice, Sim, Susan, Garry, Yoko, Peter, Alicja, Shirley, IVAN.
