Trip Date: 8-Jul-2010
Activity: Scramble
Destination: Mt Rundle- Main Peak
Report:

An early start combined with the access trail being along sheltered slopes, allowed us to avoid the heat of the day. A steady pace got us to the top which we found to be free of snow. Clear skies gave us great views in all directions - as far as the Bugaboos to the west.

On the way down

Not many flowers on the dry west facing slopes, but there were some nice clumps of purple saxifrage.

Thanks to Adrian, Jeanette and Arnold for joining me - Bill C/S.
