The trail to the ridge was pretty standard fare and the scramble up to the summit
was quite easy as expected. We held lunch around 12:30pm.
After lunch, it was time to amble up to the rockband and checkout the gully. Three checked out the view by the rockband
while two of us meandered over to the gully.
There was a little water flow with no snow in the lower part above the point where I am standing. It was hard to tell where the snow began but there was definitely snow higher up on the peak. After the gully checkout three of us headed into the screebowl to meet the other two.
From here we traversed over to the west side of Ram Mountain and dropped on angle back to Bluerock trail using a bench above a short cliffband.
Once on the trail it was a plod back to the Sheep River horse trail.
Here we made a side excursion into Whiskey Lake and then bush bashed about 400 meters to the main Sheep River trail, then back to the cars.
Those participating included Janet, Ghulam, John, and Jeannette. Welcome to John on his second Ramblers trip and first scramble. Thanks also to John for the pictures.
