Trip Date: 13-Jun-2010
Activity: Trail Hike
Destination: Eagle Hill 455604
Report:

A warm weekend in between 2 wet weeks. We had a light breeze off and on through the walk.

The early part of the trail had several boggy parts, which were not too big a problem to skirt.

Lots of types of flowers. The most numerous were the shooting stars, but there were a total of 38 other kinds identified and audited by the keen flower observers of the club. A sampling is shown here.

For lunch, some of the group chose the sun, breeze and view. As it had become quite warm (I think 24) and dry, others of us chose the shade. (Kay, Alastair and Narayan)

We appreciated shade where we could find it on the way back out:

Thanks to Alastair from Del, Kay, Narayan, Barb, Joanne, Joyce, David, Brian, Tom, Marianne, Dave, and Karen
