Three of us headed out for day of powder skiing south of Sunshine resort in the Quartz bowl. Excellent conditions with 10 to 20 cm of powder on strong melt crust. Nice weather with good temperatures and a few clouds though a light cold wind joined us at lunch time. Total elapsed time of 6 hours.

Did one 0.7 km glide run plus 6 turns runs. Approximately 12.4 km distance out of bounds, 620 meters vertical up, 800 meters down. One eager skier added ski out to day.
