We were aiming to climb Rock Point Ridge, but unfortunately the coordinator's leg suddenly became painful and didn't work properly… so we turned around at the vast meadows about 600m before what would have been our ascent route. Despite the change of plans, it was a lovely rejuvenating day rich with conversation and sunshine that didn't seem to be much diminished by the partial solar eclipse. Nature moments included admiring thousands of aspen catkins and lobbing snowballs to break ice bridges along the creek.
