It was a glorious day with fine springlike weather and good, mostly winterlike snow conditions, to ski my favourite loop at West Bragg Creek. Our 19 km route with 385m of height gain took in Mountain Road, the north side of Moose Loop, Mountainview West, back on Mountain Road, then Mountainview, West Crystal, Loggers and a fast fun run down Sundog to finish. Along the way there were a couple of small bare spots appearing, and two easily bypassed ice flows. Towards the end, there were a few areas of glazed snow in the tracks on Loggers, but overall, purple wax worked very well. Get it while you can!

Participants: Rosanne, Philip, Alda, Nancy, Janet, Jane, Joanne, Doug, Steve. Piper the retriever.

Starting off on Mountain Road with good tracksetting and cold snow.

As promised, lunch in the sun at the Moose- Mountainview West junction.

Great ski conditions on Mountainview West.

Good skiing with older grooming on Mountainview.
