A short yet extremely satisfying hike, particularly for the coordinator who had never been in the area before. Our feet didn't get as muddy or wet as expected, and we needed poles (but not spikes) to help us get up the loose snow in the trees. Lunch was long but not as long as it would have been if one member hadn't been close to falling asleep in the warm sunshine.
