Trip Report
Trip Date:
8-Nov-2021
Activity:
Trail hike
Trip name:
Bobcat to Ranger Ridge (Fullerton jct.)
Coordinator:
Carl
Report:

A surprise dusting of snow greeted us at Station Flat, and with a layer of ice under that, we donned our spikes for most of the time, although the Bobcat Trail up the sunny, south facing slope of Ranger Hill was bare and mostly dry. It was a bluebird day, starting at minus 5 and ending at plus one degree Celsius. We only met two people all day, although there were plenty of fresh tracks at the end of the day. All day we followed tracks of little critters and a cougar.
