Good weather was promised for today’s hike – and that’s what we got. It was 7 degrees at the trailhead when we started hiking under blue skies with no wind. By lunch time at Baruch’s corner, the temperature had climbed to the mid-teens so we were able to enjoy a very leisurely lunch.

Because the weather was so nice, we decided not to retrace our steps to Sugar Mama, but instead go down to Sugar Daddy and the use the new Sugar Pony trail to reconnect with Sugar Mama. This added about .6 km and 20 m to the trip, but it made for a pleasant return route, one that this coordinator will use in the future.
On the way down , we paused for a relaxing tea break so we could enjoy the sun and that views before getting back to the cars.
