The blue sky didn't last for long and by the time we arrived at the ridge we had lots of clouds and a brisk breeze. At a slow but steady pace our enthusiastic group took about 50 minutes to do the partial ridgewalk to the notch and downclimb. After a short lunch we went down the steep scree gully eventually picking up the trail at the bottom. In the way out we walked in the short but interesting canyon. Back at the cars at 5 pm.
