We settled in for a relaxed lunch enjoying the views over Twin Lakes. One puff of cool wind reminded us of our good fortune.

Larch & Copper Mtn

On the return trip we encountered several small groups with dogs in tow and although the trail was busy most of the day it was not a problem.

Most arrived at the crowded parking spot after a round trip time of about 5:30 hours except the chatty coordinator -- my apologies. At least we finished well ahead of the estimated 6 hours.

My thanks to all participants: Rosanne,Cornelis,Eveline,Shirley,Evan,John,Jo,Fiona and a happy birthday to John.
