We enjoyed mild weather and little wind on on our snowshoe up to Rummel Lake.  The trail was well packed, making an easy ascent.

We found a new bench (mostly buried in snow) at one of the viewpoints on the trail up, which will be nice to take a breather at on summer hikes.

There were some sunny spots looking across the Spray Valley, but it was mostly cloudy on our route. Light snow fell for a few minutes at Rummel Lake after we finished our lunch there, but didn't follow us back to the cars.

We took a short off-trail diversion to check the snow conditions - the snow was nice, but knee-deep where no-one had trodden before; we did follow some old tracks covered by several inches of snow, which provided some base.

Thanks to Aldis and Cristina for joining me, from Barb (c,s,p)
