Report:
As others, including skier Bob, have commented, PLPP ski trails are in pretty good condition at the moment. Fast but not icy with a smudge of powdery stuff from somewhere for grip.

Four of us drove from Calgary and met the three from Canmore at the Elk Pass Trailhead to begin skiing at 9.15am in -11c temperatures. But the sun was out and neglible wind. We regrouped at the base of Blueberry Hill for a short break before the more strenous push to its summit. We all managed with wax and herringbone. Another break before the exhilarating descent to the base picnic table and lunch. The Whiskey Jacks were active.

Refreshed, we continued up to Elk Pass and then back along Hydroline and Patterson. I cast the deciding vote to return along Fox Creek which was in satisfactory condition, but John lost a ski basket somewhere here. We were all back at the cars by 2.30pm where it was -1c, and Calgary by 4.00pm (+8c). Stats about 22km, 450m elevation in 5 hours which was the modest pace set by C&S Dave. Thanks to a great group for making my annual trackset trip so enjoyable.
