Report:
Good day out in hot somewhat muggy conditions. Following Carl's google earth image from 2013, we only went to Ship's Prow Peak where we had lunch. After lunch there was a thundercloud forming over Mt Joffre and it looked to be raining to the east so we descended down the gully below the peak back to the car at Goat pond parking on the south end of the canal. The thunderstorm passed to the west and we heard one roll of thunder but it rained enough for us to don rain coats for about 20 minutes.6 hours car to car to the Peak only for 4 male coordinators and a dog (Spektor). Some nice views. A few mosquitos.  This was a very easy SC6, I would call it SC5 to the peak only.
