Considering the rainshowers earlier Friday morning we couldn't have asked for a nicer day! We only found a small amount of mud where we started on the Sheep Trail just past the winter gate. The rest of the route was in good condition. The sun shone, the breeze, although cool, was light, spring wildflowers were blooming and the company was great.
We only saw 4 other hikers and 2 on horseback with a dog. Back at the cars about 2:20pm. Thanks to Ron, Madeleine and David for a nice relaxing day. Brenda c/s/p
