Despite dire weather warnings from jealous non participant Ramblers for this hike the precipitation and wind held off until we were well on our way driving home. We started off at 9 AM and quickly made our way to Baldy Pass. The ice that had covered the trail a week earlier was almost gone and traction devices were not needed. After all of us did the short scramble, the rabbits headed off quickly to the summit while the rest followed at a more leisurely pace.

Although an occasional cold wind came up with a few flakes of snow, the summit was calm and reasonably warm such that some Ramblers relaxed for almost an hour at the top. After the leisurely lunch we started off the mountain and reached the parking lot by 2:45 PM.

Thanks to all the participants: Sim, Yolande (mentor), Jeannette, Patrick, Jane, Cristina (photos) , Jo, Ingrid, Kate for a great day John (probationary coordinator). A special thanks to my mentoring coodinator.
