Our departure from the parking lot (which was practically empty) was very pleasant due to the mild temperature and the good snow coverage and skier packed trail.
Starting up Taylor Lake trail
We had no problem in slowly climbing up towards the high bridge where we stopped for a snack before continuing to Panorama Meadows.
Emerging from the fog to Panorama Meadows
A light, wet snow drifted down as we reached the meadows. We then had a good run down back down to the bridge before continuing onto Taylor Lake where Jim broke trail for us.

Some recent snowfall at Taylor Lake campsite
Because the snow coverage was good, we got down most of the way, before the snow became sticky and a couple of people had to scrap the snow off skis. This was a very good early season trip.
