We had a late start , almost 11 am for this short but enjoyable ramble in the foothills. No snow and only a few icy spots in the darkest woods so we didn't have to use icers.After a relaxed lunch on Carry ridge we went down the valley aiming for the gap between the north end of Muley ridge and the first N.W hill. A steepish but short climb took us to the high point of Muley and from then on a pleasant walk down the ridge in sunny and warm conditions. Back at the cars shortly before 3 pm
