Sorry for the late report

Snow coverage was good all the way to the pass. The previous storm snow started wet and there is a definite layer below about 2150m. Good snow for about 150m, then it was all windpack up high. Cornices are forming but nowhere near as big as they were after the major wind events early last year (I think it was last year).

It was fairly cool at the top (-12) with high winds so we stripped skins and got down. At that point Mark and Mark went up for an additional short run and caught up with the rest of the group below the headwall. The headwall was early season conditions but not bad.

Thanks to the group for the good day out.
