A cheerful and congenial group compensated for the gloomy and gray day. While the sun was shining on the front ranges we were under chinook cloud all day.

We had a brief snack break on the highest east hill by the not so inviting barbed wire fence

and then it was down the cow trail and up again to the corral for rest and lunch
