Driving out along the Trans Canada was considerable smokey in the morning, but once heading south then onto the trailhead the skies were fairly clear.

Reaching Commonwealth Creek we progressed, going threw several areas of cowparsnip that showed significant bear activity. Large areas of avalanche thru trees, but trail is still good shape.
