Only mad dogs, ramblers and englishmen would go out and climb a hill in the midday sun when the thermometer hits the plus 30 mark. We had an early start in warm conditions with plenty of rest stops to cool off. Once on the ridge a nice breeze was blowing making for very pleasant hiking conditions.

Green meadows full of flowers

A bit of a scramble

After a good break at the first summit we proceeded down to the saddle and the short but steepish climb to the high point of the day

At the first summit

Summit shot

Group on top

A delightful ridgewalk

Only on the last part of the hike the heat became noticeable but we all survived and I daresay we had a very enjoyable hike Bonus , in this normally overcrowded place we met less than a dozen other hikers. Participants: Jim, Dean, Teresa, Jane, Cathy, Dana. Thanks to all for joining me Francisco C/S
