Report:

A cool northwest breeze was waiting for us as we prepared to begin our adventure on this day. it was nice to have Simm join us. We could see lots of rapids on the Elbow river as we progressed along the road to the trailhead and upwards into more shelters areas.

A wonderful trip up to Nihahi Ridge. Christine & Jeannette.

Within timber and meadows we progressed to the more exposed rock faces and ridgeline as we accended, the wind showing it force. Staying on the leaward side, for shelter and safety we reach the point where the hands are needed for the scramble, this was decided our high point, as a group. Shelterd here a nice lunch was had. I believe we could see horses in a meadow far below us.

Our way off Nihahi Ridge, no wind here!!

Stopping for a late group photo on the decent, I think a nice day and trip was had. Rain showers stayed to the north and east to make it basically a sunny day. I thank those for joining me to make this possible. Scribe, Lenard. Thank you.. Participants: Christine,Jeannette,Lenard.
