Very little wind and lots of sunshine made for a perfect day for a long ridge walk. The trail was in good shape and we only needed to wear spikes in a couple of places. We enjoyed a lunch break near the summit, and then the weather was so nice in the afternoon that we sat on the ridge for a while before starting the descent. It was nice running into two other Ramblers and we only saw one other person all day.
