Conditions were much better than I expected, lots of coverage on Elk Pass, Blueberry, Hydroline, Patterson and Fox Creek. And the roller was just heading up Elk Pass when we returned.
We set out around 9:30 under pretty sunny skies, generally on VR40 wax (blue with a bit of purple). Coverage was excellent right from the Elk Pass parking lot.
Elk Pass trail - photo from SteveAfter a quick snack at Blueberry junction we headed up the Blueberry Hill trail.

Mike, Steve, Jo and Clifton at the top of Blueberry Hill The afternoon was generally under a high overcast sky. We returned via Elk Pass, Hydroline, Patterson, Elk Pass trail, and Fox Creek.
Four skied on fairly skinny steel-edged skis, one on fish-scale. The heavier skis, while not absolutely necessary, made it easier to manage the downhills with some "messy" snow conditions.
Many thanks to participants: Mike,Clifton,Joanne, and Steve for joining me, Carl (C/S).
