When the six of us left the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised that there was no wind and no blowing snow. The drive was quite pleasant on a dry road. It was a little chilly, but we kept moving in the woods and managed to stay quite warm. As we gained elevation there was a more snow. It took us three hours to reach the base of the climb up to the pass but by then it was 12 pm and the going was getting more difficult so we decided to have lunch before making our way down.

Return to Lillian Lake

We were surprised at the number of people who passed us going up. Overall a very pleasant day. Thanks to Jim (photos), Jeannette, Ricardo, Clifton and Bill for participating.
