After a cold start at the trailhead, temperatures started to warm up nicely when the sun appeared about 11 AM. By the time we were having lunch at Baruch’s Corner, it was warm enough for a leisurely break to enjoy the view and talk about hiking in Patagonia.

The trail was quite good – a snowfall of 4 to 20 CM. overnight ensured that there was good traction over the hard pack and ice and so no traction devices were needed. We arrived back at the cars about 2 PM.
Thanks to Douglas and Debi for joining me on this pleasant day. Brian C/S/P
