The Chinook cloud combined with a light breeze made for a pleasant hike up to Baldy Pass.Although the parking lot was almost full, we decided that this was due to the absence of carpooling rather than due to great numbers of hikers. We had a leisurely lunch, with lots of discussion, enjoying the views, and even some napping.
