As a result of the coordinator over- estimating the driving time to the trailhead, some people arrived early by as much as 40 minutes. The last person to arrive (who obviously did his own calculations), arrived at the scheduled time and so we hit the trailand started hiking on a beautiful sunny day. The trails are gradually getting busier and there were numerous groups going up to Nihahi Ridge. To avoid the cool wind , we sheltered on the east side of the viewpoint for lunch.

We were back at the cars just after 2 PM after about 4 hours of activity time.
