The temperature and the wind at the Peninsula Parking lot was around -14 but once we were in the trees we warmed up considerable. We followed the road up to within 600 metres of the top and found some very mellow glades (short). Previous skiers had put in quite a decent uptrack to the top and apparently had skied down quite a distance. The snow at the top was very good and we got in a couple of turns. Thanks to Jim and Douglas for a really enjoyable day.
