The morning crispness hung in the air as we parked and prepared ourselves for the hike. I strapped my snowshoes to my pack as the trail was packed from the start. Our walk progressed threw the timber, along meadows below use, and areas of willows. I beleive there was fresh moose tracks from the previous night where it had been feeding, ambering along its way. On the accent we came across this sizeable stump, thinking it has a story of it's own.

On the accent this rather large stump made us ponder, then all seemed ok. David & Doug.

On the upper part of the trail our tracks became the first, but the hillsides did have bare sections. Upon the summit, picnic table, with blue sky all around a nice lunch was had.

We are thankful for the picnic table at the summit of Eagle Hill.

After about a half hour it was off again, decend we did. Yes a warm sunny day, shirt sleeves warm as we entered back into the valley bottom. Good conversation, and I thank those that attended... My phone app showed about 15.5 kilometers complete distance. Participants: Douglas,Lenard,David.
