Report:

As sure as the the sun rises and sets, the warm weather returned, where as upon reaching the parking area it was about minus 5-8 degrees. Low cloud was moving off as we set out for the excursion, sun basking us, soon clothing layers were removed as we proceeded up the trail.

A wonderful day on James Walker, as can be verified by the smile.

The snow was a metre plus deep in most areas, a lunch spot was found with nice veiws of open terrain as we reached the 1st lake.

1st lake on James Walker Creek snowshoe.

This was our high point for the day. On the decent, sunny, a breeze that came and went within the valley, lifting snow powder from the trees.. I thank all for attending, plus I thank Barb's guest Carolyn for joining us also. Also I did not see the large elk that was seen by the passengers in the back as I was driving.. Scribe, Lenard.
