Report:
Great day in the mountains, snow was good, we were safe. Cool start at -13c with wind crossing the lake. Nancy had an issue with her skins. A broken tail clip. Arnold fixed it . 50cm snow at the parking lot 105 cm with a ski supportive midpack . Those who stepped off both skis sunk about 100cms. Excellent almost untracked skiing for the first lap through the trees . When we came back up for the second lap Gerald broke his tele binding . In case anyone under the age of 21 were to read the report Gerald's utterances have been removed by Ron Hunter . Arnold repaired the binding with a hose clamp and three orange straps firmly attaching Gerald and his boot to the ski . The second lap was almost as good as the first lap . Ed romanced a tree and Arnold dug him out of the tree well . Hooray for Arnold. We found new untracked snow for the third and final lap dropping onto the road and skiing out. We finished at 3:30 . It was great !
