When driving through a -28C cold spot on the drive out, your scribe was wondering if this trip was going to be an ordeal, however it warmed up to -19C by the time we arrived at Kananaskis Village under sunny conditions. The climb up Kovach warmed us up a bit, although it was fairly cold when we rounded the corner to the Ribbon Creek Valley:

Snow conditions were great and the tracksetting was quite good despite not having been refreshed since Feb.13th. It warmed up nicely when we were back in the sun on Ribbon Creek trail and we had a pleasant first lunch break at the viewpoint:

Down at Ribbon Creek parking lot the thermometer confirmed the warmer conditions:

We headed back up towards Aspen trail and did a bonus loop before heading back down Kovach to the Village where we enjoyed the vista:
