Participants: Carl, Jennifer, Bob. What a great day for a hike, with very mild temperatures and a little sun in the morning and later in the afternoon. The trails were very dry, for the most part and not much ice, although on the return part of the loop there were a couple of icy sections and ice flows to cross. However, we didn't use our microspikes. We hiked the loop in the clockwise direction and had a 40 min. leisurely lunch on the summit at the picnic table with a temp. of 9 degrees. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any wildlife all day and were back at the car at a little after 2:30 p.m. , after commencing the hike at 10 a.m.

Thanks to my very amiable companions, Bob and Carl, and hope we've sorted out all the world's problems! (A big thank you to Carl for his route-finding prowess on the return part of the loop - yours truly had only done that route a couple of times previously and had little recollection of it).
