Another good trackset day at Lake Louise. We were glad to have uphill at the start with -19C at the parking lot. We ascended Tramline to the Lake Louise parking lot and as it was not even 11:30 we thought we would try heading up the west end of Fairview trail for a bit of out and back. It was not trackset and quite hard and bumpy; not being enamoured of coming back down such conditions we quickly turned around and went back down and over to the Lake for a lunch spot. It was -13C so we remained bundled up, but had time for a photo:

After lunch we took a chilly run down upper Tramline and headed up Moraine Road for a few kilometres. Strategic stops in sunny spots were found to be pleasantly warm when soaking up the rays. Then it was back down Moraine & Tramline to the parking lot:

Down to the car on Tramline trail

At the bottom we took a bonus 2 km loop along Bow River trail, the south side was marginal but okay, the north side was not good at all.

Thanks to a good group for joining me, participants: Ron C/S/P, Anne, Madeleine, Carl and Barbara.
