Report:

Thanks to overnight snow of 5 to 10 cm and the diligent work of volunteers packing trails, conditions were good. We followed "Mountain Road" west from the parking lot all the way to "West Mountain View" on packed and skier trackset trails. Snow coverage was good. We ascended "West Mountain View" for a short distance along the roller packed road but found there was no base and a bit of gravel so abandoned this route. I think that this was probably the first pass at packing. We retraced our tracks to "Mountain View" and followed it back to the core area. Overall there were good conditions with the occasional thin spot or ice flow, all of which could be avoided.

We skied about 17.5km and cumulative elevation of 390m. A good morning ski close to town.
