The weather forecast this morning did not sound too promising but an amazing number of people still showed up for the hike! Very little wind all day. Jackets were off by the time we reached Carry Ridge.

We stopped for lunch on Carry Ridge about .5km beyond the high point and the sun came out just as we arrived! After about 45 min lunch we started a grassy, somewhat steep descent from Carry Ridge to the valley bottom. From there we headed to the base of Muley and then on upward finding a fairly open and not too steep route.

By afternoon it was starting to get muddy - but the sun was still shining and no one complained! So much for the weather forecast. Back at the cars at 2:35pm

Thanks to a great group for a wonderful day in the foothills.
