Originally, it was Brian’s trip, but Madeleine was kind enough to take over the coordinator’s role. It was the pleasant day with mild 10C temperatures, clouds in the morning and blue skies around lunch time. The trail was a bit icy at the beginning but none of us put micro spikes on. Some of us decided to wear micro spikes on the way back at the very end of the trail. We shared the trail with a few bikers and a group of people on horses. The trail was dry in higher parts and a bit wet in lower parts. We were back at the cars around 2:00 pm, just in time to avoid light rain. According to Harold’s GPS, we made approximately 10 km with combined elevation of about 400 m.
