Report for Cross Conservation Area, Paradise Trail loop Trail hike

Participants: Madeleine,Jennifer,Margo We three Ramblerettes enjoyed a very pleasant, albeit cloudy, walk at Cross Conservation. No snow to speak of and the trails are in good condition. The temp. was a balmy 1 degree C. but not much wind when we started out. The foliage on the aspens is just starting to change but the grasses and bushes have their beautiful Fall colouring. Unfortunately, we didn't see much wildlife nor could we see the mountain vista because of the clouds and, surprisingly, only two other hikers.
