Participants: Ron, Carl, Brian, Jennifer, Aldis, Cristina. What a glorious, sunny day, with only a slight breeze, in the Bull Creek Hills! Pack Trail Coulee was a bit muddy in some areas but not as bad as I thought it might be. After a short break for water and a snack at Grass Pass we continued N.E. up the Bull Ck. Hills trail. We saw many clumps of lovely crocus as well as some kitten tails(?). We encountered a few patches of residual snow along the route but these were easily negotiated by either going around or through them.
Reaching the big rock (about the 5+km point) around 12:30 pm, we had our lunch sitting on said rock with a spectacular view. Holy Cross Mtn. still has quite a bit of snow

We retraced our route back to the cars. Overall, we saw very few people all day and pretty much had the place to ourselves!
According to Brian, our stats. for today were 830m elev. gain and 10.5km. Many thanks to Aldis, Ron, Cristina, Carl and Brian for accompanying me, Jennifer c/s. (Photos to follow).
