On Monday we skied Chickadee valley (Whymper col).

On Tuesday we went up Connaught creek branching right and up Ursus trees. We found wonderful untracked powder forgot to take any photos. On Wednesday, 4 of the group skied Illecillewaet practice slopes. On Thursday I left the group to the tender care of 3 other coordinators with their plans to maybe ski NRC gullies. All trips had very good powder skiing. I highly recommend the Il Nido Country Inn for great food, hosts and good value.A few photos to illustrate the tough nature of this backcountry ski trip:

Ed, Dave, Barbara, hostess and wonderful cook Susan, John, Manfred and John about to enjoy supper at Il Nido,

Yum, yum!

Trail breaker's breakfast!

I think I will plan a similar trip next year and after talking to our hostess, Susan, will increase the numbers.

Dave, John, Manfred, Ed and Barbara about to jump into Connaught creek?

Thanks to Manfred,John,Dave,Ed and Barbara for their good company, and being OK when the coordinator, John, abandoned the group for a couple of days.
