It was a mild, shirtsleeves kind of day as the temperature hovered around 0 all day. We arrived at the lake about 11:45 where we stopped for a snack break. Then around the lake and up the valley behind where we stopped for lunch. When we returned to the lake after lunch we found three other groups of snowshoers. A member of one group had elected to wear shorts - I don't think it was quite that warm!
