There were 2 or 3 other small groups at the trailhead when we arrived, with a few more small groups we met on the way down, but not too crowded for a long weekend.  It was pretty warm especially on the way down and the light breeze above treeline was welcome.  As Ron reported from his trip last week, the flowers were still very nice, particularly the fireweed above treeline.  Unlike the last 3 weeks, we could see that the smoke has started to move into the south Kananaskis even south-east of Highwood Pass, but it was not too dense.  The views and flowers made this a very enjoyable outing.
